South Texas Hispanic Fund
Strengthening the Hispanic community's involvement in philanthropy
The South Texas Hispanic Fund began in 2007 under the leadership of the San Antonio Area Foundation, Board members and a dedicated steering committee of respected Hispanic leaders. Since inception, this outreach fund has distributed $230,000 in grants to support charitable programs that improve the quality of life for Hispanics in South Texas.
Uniting our community
Dedicated volunteers are engaged in fund development and strategic direction for the South Texas Hispanic Fund. Through collaboration and the pooling of resources, community leaders are building a substantial and lasting endowment to improve our community for generations to come. The fund hosts an annual fundraising event, RingSideSA, a boxing event featuring local celebrity boxers.
