2019 Grant Funding Update

We are continuing the process of restructuring our program areas and funding opportunities. We recognize that other funders are undergoing similar processes that will impact our nonprofit partners differently. We want to be sensitive to these factors and offer general operating support grants to bridge any gaps that may arise and to allow organizations the flexibility to direct money where it is most needed.

Other key points to note:

  • We will host information sessions, this summer, regarding our 2019 annual responsive cycle.
  • Grant applications for the 2019 annual responsive cycle will begin Friday, June 21 with a deadline of Sunday, July 28.
  • Instead of program support, 2019 annual responsive grants will support general operations, only.
  • There will be only ONE annual responsive grant cycle for 2019.
  • Special and Urgent Needs grants will still be available.
  • We will not have a Santikos Capital Naming Rights process in 2019, as is the normal schedule.
