Join us at this interactive session to learn how to increase employee and volunteer engagement within your organization.

Engaged employees are characterized by responsibility, commitment, identity, quality, and success within the organization.  Research suggests that engaged employees are higher performers, less likely to leave the organization or be absent, and help improve customer satisfaction and the organization's bottom line.  This interactive session will identify how nonprofits can utilize an organizational assessment to identify the critical areas of improvement necessary to increase their employees’ engagement, learn to recognize how to better facilitate their employees' needs, and better support engagement within their organization for employees and volunteers.

The course will conclude by providing participants an organizational assessment process tool so they can implement this strategy within their own organizations.  By using this tool, participants will be able to utilize knowledge gained in the course and continue strengthening employee engagement.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the key behavioral components of employee engagement
  • Identify specific behaviors to improve employee engagement
  • Learn the basics of an organizational assessment, how to utilize the results from the assessment, and implement change within their own organization to impact employee engagement
