Ever wonder how organizations like yours seem to be generating more attention or whether your new Instagram strategy really works? Join us as we learn how to perform a routine social media audit to find out.

Description

In this session, attendees will learn how to go through a social media audit, competitor audit, mapping, and calendaring.

Attendees of this course will learn about the ins and outs of performing a routine social media audit and then put the practice to use by working through their own accounts. Attendees should come prepared with a computer, smartphone, or tablet as we will work together to get as far into their first audit as possible.

Learning Objectives:

In this session, attendees will learn how to:

  • Run a SMART analysis of the social media strategy
  • Perform an audit on their pages and pages they follow
  • Calendar their Social Media plan
  • Analyze the results of their performance

Who should take this class?
Anyone who is working in a small agency, is new to social media, or is looking for a way to be more effective with their time.

This workshop is included in our Nonprofit Management Certification series and fulfills three hours in the Marketing & Communications competency area.

Cost:  $60.00

If a workshop and/or class has been unexpectedly cancelled and/or postponed by the Area Foundation, a refund or credit towards another workshop and/or class will be issued. If a registrant is unable to attend a workshop and/or class, a substitute may be sent or a credit may be issued. No credits will be given for cancellations received less than 48 hours before a workshop.

Meet our Presenter:
 


John Burnam is the Co-Founder and Principal of Burnam | Gray a nonprofit consulting firm based out of San Antonio and  brings consulting and project management experience in the fields of quantitative analytics, programs and outcomes evaluation, operational assessment and management, brand and identity development, social media and marketing, crowd-funding, and developing community partnerships. 

Most recently, John spent the last five and a half years consulting nonprofit agencies ranging from startups to universities, community-wide fundraising initiatives and fundraising campaigns

John has a Bachelors of Arts from Trinity University, a Masters of Theological Studies from Vanderbilt and was  recognized by the San Antonio Business Journal as a 2016 40 under 40.

John lives in Mahncke Park San Antonio with his wife, Niki, and 2 year old daughter, Sophia.
