9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

In this course, you will improve your emotional intelligence by better identifying and managing your emotions.

This course is based on psychological research of emotional intelligence and the importance of this skill set in the workplace.  We know that emotions are what makes us human and they can never be fully removed from our interactions, even in a workplace environment. As an effective leader, your emotions can’t be your primary driver when making business decisions and managing your team. This course incorporates both evidence-based theory as well as practical application exercises and introduces empirically supported emotion-management strategies that you can use on a daily basis, ensuring that your emotional responses are more accurate, adapted and effective.

Learning Objectives:

  • Examine the competencies of emotional intelligence.
  • Learn how to relate more effectively to others.
  • Learn how to develop and raise emotional intelligence to a higher level.
  • Learn how using Emotional Intelligence will improve productivity and overall well-being.

This course is ideal for anyone seeking to improve their emotional intelligence through better management of emotions under pressure, improving their ability to connect, engage, and influence others in a more meaningful way, and increasing their awareness and understanding in important interpersonal situations.
