Community Pipe Repair Program Fund The CPR Fund supports SAWS customers in need of emergency plumbing repair.

Make a Gift to the CPR – Community Pipe Repair Program Fund

By direction of Mayor Ron Nirenberg and in partnership with SAWS, the Area Foundation has set up a charitable fund, the Community Pipe Repair Program Fund (“CPR Fund”), to assist low-income households with plumbing repairs resulting from the recent snowstorm and freezing temperatures.

Individuals and families will apply for assistance from the CPR Fund directly through SAWS, who will screen their customers to evaluate needs and the appropriate response based on household income. The repair program will be administered by SAWS until all funds are exhausted.  The program will prioritize emergency pipe repair that risks causing harm to life, health or safety of the occupants.

By contributing to this fund today, you will be providing immediate relief to vulnerable families who are currently struggling without running and potable water.
