Board Governance Workshop
In this three-hour class, offered twice during the year, you will learn about effective board governance guidelines and what tools you can use to improve the board/organizational relationship. This class can be taken as a stand alone session, or you can take it as part of a series of workshops and earn a certificate through our General Nonprofit Management Certificate program.
Board Boot Camp
Nonprofit boards play a critical role in overseeing their organization’s mission, finances and strategic direction. Whether you are new to nonprofit board service, or need a refresher course, this one-day workshop – offered on a Saturday -- will provide you with the tools to help strengthen your board and ensure your organization’s success with an emphasis on governance and financial oversight responsibilities.
Board Day
An in-depth conference with a national expert, Board Day provides nonprofit and foundation board members with the tools to lead their organizations and enhance board governance. Not offered annually.
Board Special Topics
A half-day conference that explores a special, relevant board topic that allows for learning, discussion and exploration. Stay tuned for more information.
Reggie Williams Resource Library
Board members may also take advantage of our Reggie Williams Resource Library. The library features more than 200 hard copy volumes that address subjects related to nonprofit management, fundraising, leadership and more. Board members can also temporarily access the Foundation Directory remotely to search for grant opportunities. Please note that the library is currently closed to the public until further notice.
