Effective Grant Writing for Social Impact Certificate Program

August 1 - August 2

$225

In an era of declining resources and increasing community needs, the ability to successfully seek and acquire supplemental funding is essential for any organization. Unlike fundraising, grant writing is an art form that relies on storytelling to secure funding and resources from government agencies, foundations, corporations, or individuals. Participants will learn how to help your organization develop and manage grants effectively through the grants’ lifecycle. In the comprehensive course, learners will delve into the art of grant writing while leveraging valuable insights from community census data. By combining grant writing techniques with data-driven decision making, attendees will gain a competitive edge in securing funding for impactful projects. Participants will earn a certificate upon completion of the program.

Objectives:

  • Develop an understanding of where and how to seek grant funding
  • Understand the grant development and management process
  • Create effective grant reports that demonstrate your organization’s attention to monitoring, evaluation, and learning in the grant process
  • Identify strategies and methodologies to construct, operate, and report on grant budgets consistently, accurately, and transparently even in sophisticated donor templates.
  • Leverage census data to build partnerships and demonstrate community support.
