So long and happy retirement, Sandie!
The Area Foundation would like to extend our utmost appreciation to Sandie Palomo-Gonzalez, who retired last month after 16 years with the organization.
Sandie joined the Area Foundation in 2007 as part of our Grants team and transitioned to the Learning and Development (L&D) team in 2018, where she managed top-notch training programs.
She has been an integral part of the work we do. One of Sandie’s many gifts has been the ability to create meaningful connections with our community leaders and partners through her work.
The L&D team strives to provide high-quality, innovative professional development programs and has always been seen a unique service that not many community foundations offer.
With the community’s continued support, our hope is to continue to be a leading professional development source for nonprofits, small businesses and government entities in South Texas. Sandie’s contributions will always be valued and remembered.
