Dear Waldemar Community,

Our beloved Hunt community and Camp Waldemar were recently impacted by a devastating flood. Roads were washed out, key infrastructure was compromised, equipment was lost, and trees and debris now line our waterfront. Thankfully, none of our camper kampongs were affected by the floodwaters, and the beautiful cypress trees along the river still stand tall.

While the spirit of Waldemar remains unshaken, the physical and financial toll is significant. Recovery will require time, care, and resources.

Charitable donations allow families, alumnae, and supporters to make tax-deductible contributions that directly support Camp Waldemar. These gifts help us meet urgent needs—such as repairs and restoration—while also supporting long-term recovery and preservation efforts.

For over 100 years, Waldemar has been a place where young women grow into strong, compassionate leaders—grounded in tradition, sisterhood, and purpose. It’s where confidence is built, character is shaped, and lifelong friendships are formed.
