Grant Writing Certificate

Transform your grant writing skills and secure funding for your organization with our comprehensive 2 day course.

San Antonio Area Foundation Effective Grant Writing for Social Impact

In an era of declining resources and increasing community needs, the ability to successfully seek and acquire supplemental funding is essential for any organization. Unlike fundraising, grant writing is an art form that relies on storytelling to secure funding and resources from government agencies, foundations, corporations, or individuals. Participants will learn how to help your organization develop and manage grants effectively through the grants’ lifecycle. In the comprehensive course, learners will delve into the art of grant writing while leveraging valuable insights from community census data. By combining grant writing techniques with data-driven decision making, attendees will gain a competitive edge in securing funding for impactful projects. Participants will earn a certificate upon completion of the program.

TRANSFORMING DREAMS

INTO FUNDED REALITIES

The San Antonio Area Foundation's Grant Writing Class was essential for my start-up toolkit. I took this class to apply for grant funds to expand my reach for teaching youth financial literacy. I've been applying for grants since 2020 but have yet to succeed. Taking the SAAF Community Foundation's Grant Class helped me share my story but also share the impact my mission provides. Less than three weeks after completing the class, I won a grant to help my mission of youth financial literacy.
