So much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving season!
I hope you enjoy this video we’re sharing, pulling back the curtains a bit on our organization and staff here at the San Antonio Area Foundation.
I created this video with the goal of putting faces to the wonderful people who make up our organization. As a newly onboarded employee, taking on the role of Multi-Media Specialist, I’ve grown fond of the culture here and the passionate people who form our work family.
With Thanksgiving Day right around the corner, I came up with this visual project idea as the perfect opportunity to have some of our staff share why they’re thankful! A big thank you to them for volunteering be on camera! We hope you can see that passion I mentioned in what they’re sharing – and how they’re sharing it!
As I reflect on what I’m personally thankful for, I am so grateful to have joined the Area Foundation. I may be a new employee, but I’ve been familiar with the great work this organization has been doing in our community for nearly six decades.
Did you know that we offer more than 100 scholarship funds? As a 2014 scholarship recipient, I know first-hand the impact the Area Foundation makes in the lives of those seeking a better future. To now be working here and contributing to helping other students who come from similar circumstances as me is truly a privilege!
