The Walk by Faith Scholarship Fund recognizes students for their leadership, academic excellence and active participation in their faith. The scholarship has a focus on student leaders representing San Antonio’s West Side.
The fund awarded its first scholarship in 2015 to Baylor University sophomore Nicole Young. Nicole grew up in San Antonio’s West Side and is a student majoring in Biology on the Pre-med track. She credits the “sacrifices and support of amazing mentors” who encouraged her and pushed her to achieve great things.
